We'll visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, which contains a charming combination of rain forest, the most beautiful beaches in the country, hiking trails and coral reefs. In 2011, Manuel Antonio was listed by Forbes among the world's 12 most beautiful national parks. This park has one of the most impressive landscapes in the world and has several coves with many white sand beaches and lush foliage amidst great mountains and forests that reach the beaches. Additionally, it is located in the tropical forest. There is quite a varied fauna with 109 species of mammals and 184 of birds. The park includes 12 little isles just off the coast; these often visited by a number of dolphins and, at times, migrating whales can be observed. The trail that winds around Punta Catedral affords some spectacular views.

May the Blessings of this Land Reach You!

From Posada Natura Website:

Welcome to our rainforest sanctuary nestled along the pristine Naranjo river on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. We invite you to immerse in the soothing high frequencies of one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. Embark on a personal health transformation and healing journey in our sacred space. Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for the grounding of an emerging sacred reality by planting the seeds of love, truth, respect, and peaceful cooperation. We strive to provide fertile grounds for these values to flourish with deep connection and reverence to nature and its biological truths. Our intention is to inspire through our teachings and provide practical ways for all beings to live in alignment and harmony with themselves and the Earth.

Organic Nutrition
We believe our bodies are one with the Earth and for optimal balance we need to nourish ourselves with fresh, local, organic, living plant foods. All of our meals are 100% organic and grown in our gardens or neighboring certified farms. Our ethnobotanical tropical gardens overflow with powerful plant medicines, spices, and herbs that we use daily in our recipes and our teas. We have a vast array of edibles onsite and in our rainforest reserve. Cacao, durian, mangosteen, vanilla, cayenne, all spice, turmeric, pepper, ginger, lemongrass, and cinnamon to name just a few. We celebrate and respect food as medicine. Every meal is crafted to be an extraordinary sensory experience of multidimensional nutrition. Our restaurant is a beautiful open air space overlooking the river with tropical hard wood tables, hammocks, and rocking chairs.

The Temple of Light
The open air temple is where we hold sacred ceremony. We have hand built this intentional bamboo space for healing through plant medicine. The temple was designed within a triad of gigantic boulders due to the peaceful energy experienced there. Each corner pillar of the structure holds a crystal base for amplifying energy and protection. To ensure an optimal experience in ceremony we provide all guests with comfortable mattresses, soft blankets and plenty of pillows that line the walls and face the alter. The temple offers plenty of space to stretch out. There is a fire pit and benches just outside the temple where guests can rest and star gaze. The bathrooms are a short walk from the space within the botanical gardens.

Cozy up in our two story river front villas nestled in the bamboo and lush rainforest. Each of our four villas has an upstairs master bedroom with queen bed and an open air balcony overlooking the river. The other two large rooms hold four twin beds which provides ample space for a family or group of friends to share. All villas are equipped with private bathrooms and showers. Hard wood and river stone accent the cabins decor, while the A-frame structure offers a fun jungle vibe. Maximum occupancy is 6 people per villa.

The Land
We honour the land and the natural wisdom that lives within it. This higher guidance has brought us to implement analog forestry and permaculture techniques in our journey to create harmony with the local ecology. Following these principles, we have designed edible forest gardens, medicinal herb gardens, aquatic gardens, ponds and wildlife conservation corridors. Posada Natura is a model site for a resilient, harmonious and abundant settlement in the tropical rainforest were the well being of all species are cared for. The Aguas Claras Rainforest Reserve is our private government recognized rainforest reserve and is the sister project of Posada Natura.

Sweat Lodge
The Temazcal or Sweat Lodge is a sacred ceremonial way to pray, cleanse, release and connect with higher frequencies, to purify the body and mind, and to unify the spirit. Each session has a specific intention or prayer to encourage the participants to reflect on their past, intend for the future, and be grateful for the present. Each session more rocks are added and more water is put on the fire. This increases the intensity of the heat as the experience progresses. The entire ceremony last up to four hours depending on the group. The symbolism of the steam and the structure of the sweat lodge represent the womb, life’s starting place. It has developed in the form of a ceremony, working respectfully with the essential elements (water, fire, air and earth) to create a powerful purification on all levels. It provides a sacred safe container for expansion and directly connect with source. Silence, prayer and tribal music support the journey.
